Slacking so soon



Day 3

Well, here I am on the evening of Day 3 and It would seem that I am slacking somewhat. I didn't officially exercise yesterday or today, but I did move. I went on two marathon shopping sprees, one yesterday and one today. Don't worry, nothing exciting to the regular world. I was really excited to finally have enough money to get enough groceries for two weeks though. I went to Aldi yesterday and filled a whole cart full of essentials that are much cheaper there. Lots of quality meat and milk, it was so much fun and that cart was really heavy at the end, plus I had to bag my own groceries and not only load them in the car, but unload them at home as well. All of these groceries led to a 2 hour fridge/freezer cleaning session as well as an hour spent organizing the pantry. So, while I didn't officially do a workout, I would say I probably burned some calories. I also made my own plain greek yogurt yesterday and it is soooo good. I plan to use it in my morning smoothie. I don't really like to eat breakfast, so a fruit smoothie is right up my alley. I also like to eat it with a little granola and I use it as a replacement for sour cream. 

So, today I had to make a list of all the meat and stuff I got at Aldi and then go to kroger to get the stuff to actually turn it into meals. That was more time spent pushing a cart, and lugging groceries. Afterwards, my husband and I spent time decorating the outside of our house for halloween. I would say that today's "workout" was nowhere near what I did yesterday. I think my main thing is that I am not going to beat myself up over what I did or didn't do today, I am just going to focus on having a better day tomorrow. Every tomorrow.
